Q: How much does it cost to create an affiliate program? A: There are no setup fees. An Advertiser's only service charge is 30% of their Affiliate payout for "valid" traffic. Advertisers are required to spend a minimum of $19.95 in clickXchange service fees, prorated to the number of active days within any given month. The $19.95 service fee is accumulated from all programs under the same advertising account. Remaining portions will be billed on the 1st of each month for the prior month. New accounts are waived the monthly minimum for 30 days, however an overall account usage fee of $10 will be billed for early account closures. EXAMPLE: An advertiser is offering $0.10 per click. An affiliate sends the advertiser a valid click. The affiliate earns $0.10 and clickXchange earns a $0.03 service commission, so the total will be $0.13. The $0.03 is the deducted from the $19.95 minimum service fee so the amount due at this point is now $19.92 and it is accumulated for all programs under the same advertising account. Payout amounts are left to the discretion of the Advertiser. In order to protect affiliates from nonpayment, we require that Advertisers open an escrow account. Affiliate payout credits will be deducted from this account as they occur. Minimum starting balances are as follows, per click $100, per sale and lead $250. Q: How much does it cost to create an affiliate program + shopping cart? Commission affiliates to sell your products! Join the Affiliate Product Network and sell your products from affiliate websites- A: Shopping cart prices are as follows: 3 months ($40.00) 6 months ($70.00) 12 months ($120.00) No setup fees Requirements: 1) You must accept both visa and mastercard as payment for your products. 2) You must provide your own merchant account. A: CLICK PROGRAMS (lowest payout): Payouts can be as low as $0.01. However, $0.05 or greater will generate the most affiliate response. You can always start low and work your way up. LEAD PROGRAMS (higher payout than click): Lead payouts should be larger than click payouts. You will receive much fewer leads than clicks, this allows for the larger payout amount. The goods or services you are selling should help you determine the amount that you offer. If you are totally unsure of what to offer, $0.50 is a safe start. Once again, you can adjust your rates up or down as you like. SALE PROGRAMS, FLAT RATE AND % (highest of payouts): Affiliates should earn the most per sale. Reason being, the hardest of all is to get a visitor to purchase something. As with lead programs, the goods or services you are selling should help you determine the amount that you offer. Affiliate sites are acting as your sales reps and should be compensated in the same manner. Go Back Up Q: HOW DOES CLICKXCHANGE PROTECT AGAINST FRAUD? A: clickXchange takes fraud very seriously. Activity is constantly monitored. Fraudulent activity will result in the refunding of advertiser funds and the termination of the fraudulent member. Below are some of the measures used to prevent fraudulent traffic.

Go Back Up Q: How do I submit a banner ad for the link to my site? A: Go to "Edit/Add Programs" located in the clickXchange member area and click on "Rates". Here you will see your ads and payout rates, you simply specify the url (image file location) of the banner you wish to display. Go Back Up Q: How do I change the payout rate for a particular Affiliate Partner? A: To change payout rates for affiliates go to Edit/Add Programs listed in the clickXchange member area then click on RATES. From here you may edit rates individually or All at once. Go Back Up Q: How do I create an affiliate program? A: Simply sign up as an Advertiser and an independent Affiliate Program will be automatically created for you. Go Back Up Q: How do I Remove an affiliate from my program? A: To remove an Affiliate, look them up from the member area under "Affiliate Requests". You can search for the affiliate by using their member idnumber in the "Affilaite ID" box in the top right corner of the form. Choose the selection "Manage Accepted Affiliates", once you locate the affiliate you may remove them by checking the REMOVE checkbox and clicking on "Process All Reviewed". Go Back Up Q: I have not been paid for click-thrus sent to an advertiser I am affiliated with? A: There are several reasons this may occur. 1) The clicks were screened as invalid. See How does clickXchange protect against fraud? for more information. 2) The clicks are from a per sale program. In this case you will not see any earnings until the advertiser approves the sale. 3) Payment is also not made if an advertiser is out of funds or has canceled their account with you. Go Back Up Q: Can I place advertiser links anywhere on my site including multiple pages? A: You may place advertiser paid links on any page of your web site as long as it is the site that you requested the advertiser link for. You may not place advertiser links on any other site than the one that was approved by the advertiser. Keep in mind that ultimately the Advertiser has the authority to approve or disapprove what you do with their Ad’s. Go Back Up Q: How do I get the ads that I have been approved for? A: You will be emailed the link code in the clickXchange update report. To retrieve Advertiser link code yourself. From the member area click on "Advertiser Responses". Once in advertiser responses, use the select to retrieve "Active Programs". Click the link under the column "Ad Info & Link". Here you will see all the advertisers information including the link code. You can also find advertiser link code from the advertiser search. Go Back Up Q: How do I read the clickXchange Update? A: The clickXchange update is an update of changes made by advertisers to the program you have requested. The list of changes are as follows: Accept, Decline, Changed (changed payout rates), Denied (auto deny based on keywords).

When an advertiser's status shows as "Insufficient Funds", is it likely they will continue their program or should I just go ahead & remove their ads from our site?
A: When an advertiser's status shows as "Insufficient Funds", it is up to the affiliate to contact the advertiser and find out what the status is of the advertisers program. Advertiser contact information can be found by using the advertisers member ID from "Member Search" located in the member area. I would like to refer some friends to join your program. What is the URL I can use so that I can get some credit for doing so?
A: How to refer affiliates to the clickXchange 5% affiliate referral program and get credit: From the member area under the "Affiliate Program" column click on the "5% Affiliate Program" link. From here you can make a request for clickXchange ad(s). Upon acceptance by clickXchange you can then place the accepted link on your site. Your affiliate referrals will need to click your clickXchange ad link upon signup to assign credit to your account for the affiliate referral. I changed my site to a new server, how do I update my account information?
A: To update affiliate account information, from the member area under the Affiliate Program column click on "Edit Affiliate Program". From here you can make changes to your affiliate account. To update advertising program information, from the member area under the "Advertising Program" column, click on "Edit/Add Programs". Once inside under the column "Edit Site Information / Obtain Sale or Lead Code Inserts" click on the program link you wish to edit. Go Back Up |

How do I search for and request ads??
A: Log into your clickXchange account. There is a search link on the top bar and a search box on the lower right. This will allow you to search the advertiser programs. Once you find the programs you want to promote, click the "View Ads" link on the left side under the program title. This will list the ads that are available. Check the box next to the ads you want to promote and click the "Submit Ad Request" button at the bottom of the page. If you are auto accepted you will see a link to retrieve advertiser insert code. If not, you will need to wait for the advertiser to approve your request. Go Back Up |

How do I get the HTML code for the banners and ads I have been accepted for?
A: Log into your clickXchange account. You will see a selector half way down the page labeled "Manage Your Advertisers". Select "Manage Active Advertisers" and click the "GO" button. This will pull up a list of your accepted advertisers. To the right of each advertiser there is a "link code" link. Click on the link code link. This will pull up a list of ads you are accepted for. Next to each ad there is a "code" button. This button will pop up a window with the ad code for the individual ad. Copy and past this code into your website. Go Back Up |
